Johnson Creek Campground

Johnson Creek is an Army Corps of Engineers park and campground on the Oklahoma side of Lake Texoma. This is one of the nicest parks to camp in on the north end of Lake Texoma. This campground is heavily treed offering plenty of shade in the summer.

There are 55 campsites all with water and electric hookups. Most of the sites have great views of Lake Texoma. Picnic tables and fire rings are available at each of the campsites.

This campground is open primarily in the spring and summer months of April through September. There are a number of spaces open in the offseason, but the water is shut off after November.

Camp sites are available at a cost of $20 per night during the summer months and just $12 a night during the reduced camping months of October through March (which in our opinion are the best months to go).

Amenities of Johnson Creek Park:

  • Boat ramp
  • Drinking Water
  • Dump Station
  • Entrance Station
  • Flush Toilets
  • Pit Toilets
  • Showers
  • Vault Toilets
  • Water

This is a really nice campground on the north side of the lake. Enjoy!
